I need to get out from behind the camera and computer more, I think. This is becoming a photography blog for this unprofessional photographer. Added a new category especially for "baby and kids photography." I think I will be taking many more pictures of Sophie in the years to come. I learned a lot with this shoot, though. And she was for the most part a pretty cooperative little model.

New Baby Photos

New niece Sophie recently arrived in the world. A few days before she came I snapped a few quick maternity pictures of Alison:

And I got to be the official photographer on her birthday. It was so awesome to be there.

Mason

I took some newborn pictures of Mason, the son of our friends Sam and Aubree. He was only a week old in these pictures, but he is a a big boy. It was dark by the time we actually got started, so the artificial light is harsh, but they are still sweet.

Baby Emma

Our friends were kind enough to let me take some pictures of their beautiful 2 month old baby. Photography is something that I do not profess to be professional at, but that I really enjoy. The make-do setup in my kitchen was good fun. My favorites turned out to be with her parents, which we hadn't even planned on taking.
